It is 11.52pm on 31 December 2008. And I am alone in my room after watching Twilight for the 2nd time online for free.It is not an amazing movie but it hit me coz of the romantic love story. Well, it is the end of 2008. What have i done throughout this whole year of 2008?

1. I changed job & working environment- finally
2. I am unable to meet my dependable ex-colleague, Elene like normal days, i could not imagine that I never seen her for 6 mths
3. I bought myself a new laptop in my life
4. I get to know my new colleague, Li Ping from HR,my only companion for lunch
5. I get to know JL, which made my working life more "interesting" (my god)
6. I get to contact back a fren of 2 yrs back, PH
7. I get to have the chance to meet new frens thru PH
8. I get to have the chance to go to pubs and clubs for the first time in Sg thru PH
9. I puked for getting drunk for the first time in my life
10. I get to know a new hometwn fren,SC who has many similarities with me
11. I am still single and getting older as days go by

I could hear the countdwn and shouting frm other block as if they are having wedding yum seng banquet or they strike 10 million toto. And I could hear the romantic fireworks outside.

Xmas Present

So fast its another year of buying xmas present. I thought i have no present need to buy other than dept $15 present for colleague. But yesterday my fren remind me of the xmas present which i promised much earlier. Yes, i need to buy this as he really deserved for this, no matter tht present is real expensive. I went to Bugis to look for the watch tht he mentioned. And I took almost half a day to get that watch, yet only left display set for both the stores. So i need to go back to the store to collect the new stock on tmrw.

I could not sleep tonite. And now having gastric despite taken 3 gastric pills as usual every nite, which 2 of them are drowsy pills. I make use of these gastric drowsy pills for me to sleep every nite as i scared to wake up at mid nite and caused me insomnia.By right this type of medicine is to be taken 1 pill 3 times a day but i took it as 2 pills at once at nite. My frens always mock me for taking drowsy pills.Aii...am i really a sick person?

Tmrw need to get something from "Helen" shop for tht $15 dept gift,or else i am doing last min stuff again..

Well, I really really never wanted to watch this taiwan drama when I look at this poster. It gimme a feeling that this drama is just a low cast with unknown or not popular artists, and with simple love story.I passby the DVD stores, watching this posters or dvds on the rack but i never touch it before, it even annoyed me that this drama is actually posted as the Most Popular Drama in my favourite website, "MySoju" for so many months....
SO....ONE BLUE DAY, when i was chatting with a fren's fren online, he is suggesting me to watch this drama as I always complaining how bored am I.I was a bit hesitated when i find tht "Huh?? This drama again?"
Hmm...ok...Since the fact is I have really NOTHING to do, so i start to watch this drama online @ MySOju.

This drama issss....erm...funny,and has a lot of love stories behind, and taught us to be more confidence (i think so).It is just too sad to see some of my shadows there...haha..Yet of coz the heroin is forever the "cinderella" and living happily ever after, which is just contrast with my life as ending.Haha...

I like the song "Wo De Kuai Le" in this drama,how many person in this world can really find this? (**thinking hard**)

Lost Weight Me

Yes, I have lost weight terribly. I have never been so skinny since I start to work 6 years ago till now. I lost 3kg. As I am already a super slim lady, yet losing another 3 kg is a big blow to me as I hardly gain even 1 kg no matter how much i eat.
Is it due to stress? Although working sure has some up and down, but I feel happy at work more than my off day. Why? I scared lonely. Maybe..

A Memorable Sat (08 Nov 2008)

Yea, it is indeed a memorable sat. I puked for the first time, for getting drunk at a disco. Luckily it is not that bad. At least I am back to normal after 25 min struggling with dizziness, sore eyes, and tiredness. It was a birthday party of 2, they invited almost 20 people to one of the disco at Clarke Quay. I think I really not good in hard liquor, no matter how much I mixed it with green tea or ginger. Beer, please.....
But overall, it is a fun nite.....

Sick Bill

Aiks..Paying another 300 plus for my gastric medicine this time. As usual Dr Steven Mesanus from SGH prescribed me a 6 mths medicines usage. And I know it cost me nearly another 1000! Although I could claim it later on through company insurance,but I still do not have the feeling to pay it from my own pocket first. It took me 2 to 3 mths to claim back my $$ lol.
So as usual too, I cut it to 1 mth usage. I think this can last me for some time as I could just take the balance medicines at the hospital anytime i like. Almost half a year never meet Dr Steven, he is still the same "gayish" style. And still the same busy like a bee, or I could say like a ghost! Coz he walk so fast and we hardly notice he "fly" all over his Clinic G to another surgery dept. Too pity he is a gay...Hah..

** I feel happy today, but I do not know why..? Coz of weekend is coming? Maybe......

Blogging

I used to open this site of mine everytime i online almost everyday. And i did have a lot of things in my mind, yet i do not know is it consider private enough to blog all my personal thoughts here. Recently, my mood is bad. I do not know why i can start mumbling to arguing with suppliers on petty matters, and i become "attitude" to my colleague! Darn...Why the world is turning upside down. I know the reason deep in my heart.

Today my mood is better maybe my sore throat getting better, and i can start to have my favourite coffee. And i scored one of the highest scored in today's training, got myself a scrapbook as reward. As usual i am home early, made my sis signed on the doc which i prepared, hence i will be waiting for my stuff eagerly. Yea, its secret for it is. I have been waiting for this thing for yearsss....Yuppie!

New Goal

What is my new goal? Shld be the same old goal, to save more money as money OUT more than money IN. But somehow, this is not motivating my life. Normally spending will motivate my life, like getting something i like. No, no more hefty spending as recently i spend $100 on body shop stuff due to promo.
Okie, my new goal is getting healthy again. After moving, i will make sure i go to exercise at park twice a day and go to reservoir every weekend. No more meaty meals.
I really hope i can learn more sports like swimming and yoga. But time not enuf for me.....or maybe still have not the courage to dip myself into the pool...

Lazy Nite

I could not sleep tonight. Am not sure weekend off is good to me or vice versa. I became more and more lazy after every weekend off. Today I sleep too much, ended up could not sleep at this hour (11:40pm). Yes, tmrw need to work and it will be Monday. I could not imagine what will be I do if I move out next time. I will be thinking alone a lot. Not healthy. Then my laptop will be my only companion.

Liang Seah Street

Recently I used to go to Liang Seah Street, near Parco Bugis and Intercontinental Hotel for Food. There are Hawker Centre/ Kopitiam Food, Korean food, Thai food, Vietnamese food, Steamboats, HK cafes, and Dessert Shop. So many variaties. Strange enough that, normal shopping malls also have most of these restaurants but how come those not attract me at all? Don't tell me i only like street food as these restaurants located along the street!
Anyway, the food there not bad, esp the dessert shop, "Ji De Chi".

TOTO on 8/8/8, 8 Millions!!

My colleague, Tay refused to let me know what time the ToTo shop closed, or means when the 8 millions ToTO bet will be closed. He claimed that he would be the one who win the 8 million.
Like last time, I left office early around 7pm and went to Paya Lebar's NTUC shopping market to buy one. It was a SGD3.00 bet.

Aii...I never won it.....Why they dun gimme a small share of 8 million? $100 also ok....

My sis won $110.00 with 3 numbers striked. So sad it was not me.... Fancy thinking that I no need to work on the next day or perhaps the next few mths after striking ToTo. And thinking that I just walk away from office without prior notice or any resignation letter, who cares they will cut my pay for 3 mths or wat...let it be...as long as i get my toto money...sob sob....all in vain.......

Bad Love (Part 2)

I think I am more suitable to watch relaxing dramas or movies. Why? After watching those complicated "sarang sarang" (love love in korean) i could not eat, drink, or even sleep well. The impact was there. This drama, "Bad Love" was giving me a kick from the first few episodes as the storyline was quite interesting for a Korean love drama. Although such storyline often reflected in Chinese dramas but to korean dramas i think it was rather Bold.
However, when I catch up with more episodes, it was Bored. The story kept dragging esp on "Yong Gi", the hero and "In Jung", heroin's love story. I need to fast forward on most of the episodes which had these 2 person struggling over silly arguments. Then the whole story became traditionally wrapped up again, with all the sorries and happy love ending. The only part that made me feel bad for the whole show was "Soo Hwan" with so called retribution that need to end his life with illness. And now only i know that adultery in Korea need to be jail up!

p/s: I really do not fancy the heroin at all.

Currently I am watching this drama online. Although this drama is simple and does not have a huge cast, it is a very relaxing drama which I like to watch whenever I am free.

At age 11, he was made the Crown Prince and became King when he was 16. In 396, he attacked Baekje (a nation Southwest of Goguryeo) and took over the northern area above the Han River. He defeated the many invasions made by the Yeon Dynasty (China) after 400 A.D. During his reign, the number of castles he took over numbered in the hundreds and villages numbered in the thousands. However, he died at an untimely age of 39.

Well, this is another "Surprise" drama in my life. Despite after having a super tired working day, I insist on posting this blog. I have heard of this drama way before it was aired almost few weeks ago. The first 2 episode was "Huh??? what is that? who is that? what is going on?" I was in dilemma watching this drama as i could not catch up the storyline. But after watching more episode especially while watching with "free" of distraction and do not know since when, i started to follow this drama closely. I decided to watch this drama online instead as I could not wait for 1 week to watch only 2 episode aired on tv. And I finished watching it in 1 whole day. It was amazing, as I had no appettie to eat whole day. If only there were such person in this world, how wonderful it could be? I did not mean the hero or heroin in this drama, but Ho Gae. Yes, he is baddie in this drama. But a baddie who did bad stuff mainly for his mother and lover? So sad.

Cab Come!

Recently spending a lot on cab fares. Sometimes unable to wake up on time, lazy on the bed. Do not know why so tired in the morning. AND i took a cab home too, as i miss my last shuttle bus out to Newtion MRT. Lazy to walk out to Orchard MRT. Every trip of cab fares cost me a dinner at Swensons or 10 big chicken paos or 3 normal meals for 1 day! sigh......

Singapore Sales

Its Singapore Sales. And it is going to end soon too. But I still have not even got a chance to walk around to shop. The main problem is maybe i do not know what i need? Yes, is NEED. not WANT. Keep buying things to stuff into my small room is not a right decision. Especially are those unwanted and unused stuff. I find that most of the items in my rooms are fill with dust and being left behind for months. Do I really need them? I have 3 full tiers of Bathroom Amenities, which includes Bath Gels, Body Scrubs, Body Masks, Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Masks, Facial washes, Facial Scrubs, Facial Masks. Whoa, I can open a saloon. The paper and plastics bags which i gathered from all these purchase fill up my cabinet too. And some cloths which I bought, i never even wear for once as after i bought it, only i find i do not like it. So.......eventhough i am a purchaser does not mean i need to purchase so many things for myself.

Mortone Bay

My dept is busy with this new system, Mortone Bay and it will be live on the end of this month. I may not know much about this system but from the first 2 classes which I attended earlier on, it seem more complicated than the current system, Fidelio. It has much more functions, which confused us even more. A bit pity to have stop the training half way due to my resignation. Everyone required to stay back till 9.00pm almost every night to key in quotation into the new system. They are even been called back to work on Sat. Hmm...still not sure whether i have made the right choice? Too soon to know..

Rainy Sunday

I hate rainy Sunday, esp on Sunday morning.
Gloomy, wet and cold. Such inconvenient day for any outing or even affected my Super Sunday mood to watch tv or online. Angry...

Disabled Me

Oh, recently i am going to be blind! Everyone eyes, nose and mouth moulded together! I could not see them. Buses numbers look like bubur cha cha.....oh, my buddha. Reckon! I am going to be 4 eyes creature! From 50 degress to 100 degrees. All laptop and pc fault. Since the day I start to work, it took away my eyesight. Sob Sob....My innocent and poor eye sight...............

Mission One Completed

Yeahh..I have finally bought myself a laptop. Its a compaq Presario V3000 version, V3843TU. Actually I was very fond of smaller screen laptop but mostly were either from quoted as "low quality" or over my budget.

Recently hooked with online dramas (free dramas, yuppiee!)

Came across the promo adv. trip by this cast of artist to korea recently, promoting their "It started with a kiss 2". The chinese name of this drama is "E Zuo Ju Zhi Wen", which sound a bit weird for m and i think i heard of this drama before. So i went online and search @ my fav. online drama website, mysoju and watch the PART 2. it amused me with the funny charater by the heroin, which reminds me of cinderella...hehe..her life is really a miracle and i think every gal would like to be in her shoes, who cares if you are a dumwit but you could get the real happiness from your prince charming. hoho.

I prefer It started with a kiss Part 2, as the heroin more lively, talkative and hero become even more cool (no feeling like a rock).

Lunch @ Food Republic

This was the first time Siew Yee and I had lunch @ Food Republic Food Court. We use to passby this food court almost everytime we went to Suntec Exhibition Halls but never got a chance to eat there. Yes, it is very crowded and very hard to get even a single available seat. But I stood beside a guy who was almost finish his lunch for almost 5 min. And rather obviously i was waiting for this eat, and he was gentleman enough to ask me to sit dwn first. Hoho...
I had Prawn Mee Soup and she had Hakka "Lei Cha". As a hakka ngin, I could not even remember when was the last time I had my hakka lei cha. I think shld be 20 yrs back in Pahang, my mum's hometwn..But Siew Yee loves lei cha so much as i saw her had lei cha for almost every food court she visited (provided there is any there).
Okie, what I would like to say about this food court is.......the great atmosphere here. The utensils are high grade, Luzerne chinaware and even the waitress, the person who clear our dishes were groom with black long uniform, bunned hair and full make up. I was wondering, "Am i @ Crystal Jade Restaurant?" hehe...There was waitress pushing DiM Sum cart too...And the wallpapers look so real with the books and shelves picture..."Am I in Harry Potter's movie?"
However, the only thing that made the whole food court a bit annoying was the crowd there. People tend to take short cut, and walk thru the food court to another hall....!

Farewell Dinner for Leng Leng

It's Friday evening, the whole dept, 7 person of us took the shuttle bus and we had our dinner at sushi tae. It was my first time there, and the restaurant was already crowded with people at 6.30pm. Everyone was rushing to beg the shop to take their money...
Elene and Wendy bought a white colour GUESS belt for siew leng. The whole dinner ended rather fast as we ordered not many food indeed. All the best to you, ah leng..wish you achieve your goals in Swissotel in the future or anything you undertake.....

The Hospital

Today is another Sat. I turned on the tv once i lazy off on my sofa as usual in the late evening after a tiring morning. It is showing the Repeat version of a taiwanese drama, The Hospital. Since the first time this drama aired on tv on last year, i was never really completed a single episode of this drama. Maybe because one of the hero in the drama was Jerry Yan and taiwanese drama never really give me a "wow". To my surprise, it caught my attention this evening. The whole episode expressed even hidden meanings for each show and each role, and the whole story of the human being nature, no matter the warm hearted part or even the selfish and ugly part in our life. This drama was much more meaningful than any chinese hospital drama i ever watched (even The Miracle - hk).

Bloggers

I am quite upset with bloggers these days. What is a blogger? Must be a person who die die need so many readers to increase their publicity or popularity? Or to fulfill their own satisfaction to be view by others. Am i consider a blogger if i mainly signed up this site and publish my daily stuff and expressed my own opinions or feelings? I never think to deliberately letting thousands of people viewing my personal site. Of coz thy are welcome to do so, but it will be rather tiring if I need to think of what others like to read. I only hope this small blog can expressed my thoughts towards this big world.

Recently simply browsed and left some comments on a blogger site. But I think the attitude of the blogger is not right which made me feel like a fool. Well, god will bless him though.

Little Gui Lin (Bukit Gombak Mrt)

I asked Siew Yee to go to Little Gui Lin (Xiao Gui Lin) as no special plan on today. It was almost 10 years I never went there, since I was 17 years old working in Sg last time. But the view was a bit different from last time because it was under maintenance. Most areas were blocked. But this did not stop those who like fishing to visit that place. And there was couple wedding photo shooting too! Just imagine there was only a piece of rock there and it was known as little gui lin...Hmm....???

Next Mission: Laptop or PSP or Travelling?

It is 11.00am on Sat Morning. Have been Off for 2 nd Sat of the month continuosly.As usual, I bought my "standing order" weekend breakfast. It is a pack of nasi lemak with fried chicken wing and fried egg. Oh my buddha, i know it is really a sinful meal for breakfast. But nothing being done eventhough it is sinful....Hoho..

So what is my next mission? Yes, a new laptop after the existing one condemned by stupid virus sent by my ex-boss from HK. But i was hoping to have a PSP too. Why I need a PSP since I don't even play bubble balls game well?It is mainly because I need it to watch my dramas when i am travelling to work or back home. :) How about saving the money to travel to Taiwan or even Bangkok? hmmm....Ming, thanks for the ideas that achieving all the missions but one by one...
So maybe I shld be buying a laptop first....
